Or simply purchase our model # 123, which is a 3 wire snowmobile grip that will serve as a huge improvement.  Manufactured with furnace wire, which simply will not fail in this low heat application. 

Ski-Doo OEM heaters have been failing because they use a printed resistance circuit.  Printed resistance circuits always have one spot that acts like a fuse.  That spot heats up and "blows like a fuse", which is why you see a burn hole in your original equipment Ski-Doo grip.

NOT for aluminum handlebars, as the aluminum acts like a heat sink, drawing away much of the heat.  Filling aluminum handlebars with ANY form of insulation is virtually ineffective.
